This series will remind us of the purpose of Christianity and why we are called to live radically different lives from the culture around us. To believe in Christ means that we also follow Christ and to follow Christ means to serve, sacrifice, submit, and seek God’s kingdom first rather than our own.

Jesus Christ told his disciples that he did not come to be served but to serve. He exemplified a life and heart of service and that’s exactly what he’s called us to. When we surrender our life to Christ we are called to serve Christ's purposes.

Jesus Christ demonstrated a life very counter cultural to the world he lived in. This life is one He’s called those who follow him to live. To surrender our life to Christ and follow Him means we submit to His will and we submit one to another.
